VIDEO: The ups and downs of Autumn is matching our moods right now

> From the WeatherWatch archives

True Autumn weather is here with temperature ups and downs and it may well be coinciding with how many of us are feeling with self isolation.

The positive news is that we do have plenty of dry days coming up for many regions to ensure you can still get outside and get some fresh air.

For drought and dry zones there is some good news – but Northland looks driest in the week ahead still.

In saying that, extra long range, we may have showers coming up later in April.

Hi Phil your forcast is predicting 44 mm for ormondville over the next 8 days. Given that this is more than last 4 months and possibly a drought buster I am sceptical but optistic. Drought here is as bad as I can remember. Fingers crossed! !!

Fingers definitely crossed. That would be a great total. The rain/showers will be a bit patchy but there are enough days with the chance of rain that you should get something helpful. Let us know in a week how you get on, Matthew!
Cheers
