These spectacular videos clearly show the Southern Lights – (Aurora Australis) and the Milky Way moving over the South Island skies.
Shot from 8am-Midnight on the 6th of April on the edge of Lake Dunstan.
The Dunstan Range can be seen across the lake and the township of Cromwell is lit up bottom right.
Another shot at Lake Dunstan near Cromwell, Central Otago, New Zealand on the 5th of April 2010 – Moon comes up and obliterates scene.
