This weekend we have high pressure bringing more warmer than average weather and sunny days but a westerly flow is forming in the South Island with clouds building.
Next week is a different story with a couple of big storms in the Southern Ocean and they will bring a burst of gale force winds on a couple of days. Heavy rain will also be frequent on the West Coast with severe weather very likely there.
Late next week and into the start of the long weekend we have a southerly surge heading across the whole country

I hope so enough records have been broken this year we don’t want to break the driest may record in 12 years as well we need 20 mils to stop that but that autum record I think has gone unless your rain makers will give us 170 mils before the end of the month and I didn’t mention the 5 dry months in a row I haven’t seen that before….lucky I only have sheep and theres a bit of grass which is a miracle but I am sick of pumping water into tanks theres no self filling
