Spring weather is truly underway with a mix of warm and cold sparking thunderstorms and large low pressure in the week ahead.
The bulk of the severe weather looks to be in Australia’s south eastern corner and mostly the southern half of NZ – but windy westerlies are going to surge up and down across NZ in the coming week.
There’s also some large pressure around – giving NZ a calm, sunny and mostly dry patch of weather later this week.
We also take a closer look at Tasmania – and why New Zealanders share more than just the same weather pattern with them!
