VIDEO: Spring westerlies for NZ, southerly blast for Aussie

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Classic September weather is kicking in across New Zealand this week with plenty of windy weather, swinging back around to westerlies over the next day or two as a low near Auckland falls apart.

High pressure is dominant across Australia but the placement of that high brings in a properly southerly blast this week to southern states.

We track the rain, showers, snow and gales over the coming week for NZ and Australia.

Whenever I feel the need to ‘top-up’ my feelings of winter – seasonal depression ; I just tune-in and watch your forecasts of continuing shitty weather for the N. Island of New Zealand. Cheers !!!
