A tropical cyclone will form this weekend in the Coral Sea but a low in the Tasman Sea will drift to NZ bringing rain, along with a southerly change working its way up some parts of NZ.
But the humid weather in the north remains – and in fact may get more intense in the week ahead as the tropical cyclone moves closer to NZ.
It’s still unclear if the cyclone will make a direct hit in NZ – but the modelling suggests it will likely influence our weather bringing a burst of rain and, yes, even more humidity.
