VIDEO: Special Update – Main climate & weather features to Jan 5th

> From the WeatherWatch archives

This is both a weather forecast and a mini-ClimateWatch update as we track two week rainfall, La Nina and a special focus on this weekend and New Year’s Eve.

Our next normal ClimateWatch update isn’t until February 1st so this covers what we can expect as we leave 2022 and say hello to 2023.

In a nut shell, La Nina is still here but is fading this summer – as it fades a more neutral weather pattern kicks in.

For NZ that usually means more westerlies (or at least westerly driven weather).

*Programming Note: Tomorrow, Friday, is our final video of 2022! Thanks for all your support this year!
