A large high will dominate New Zealand’s weather this long weekend with almost every region warmer than average by day and mainly dry.
However there is a little wet weather floating around, mostly around Fiordland and surrounding regions on Saturday, then on Sunday and Monday both islands have a few downpours in to the afternoon.
Next week looks even warmer and drier to begin with – still a few inland downpours possible. Rain returns to the West Coast by Wednesday.
**PLEASE NOTE, we are currently in the process of upgrading our studio so there may be some disruption to our normal Video schedule next week. Also, please note Phil is away on Tuesday so there will be no weather video on the Tuesday following Labour Day Monday**
