Ah the old switcharoo – it’s about to happen in the South Island as heavy rain shifts from the eastern side to the western side over the days ahead.
It’s good news for Canterbury – but not so much for Hawke’s Bay further north with the dry conditions continuing there.
However this weekend and early next week some heavy rain may impact the upper and western North Island – we take a look.

If the synopsis is correct for Friday/Saturday Golden Bay is likely to cop it for 24 hours.
