VIDEO: Some weekend rain coming, but also another large high

> From the WeatherWatch archives

NZ has a few showers – some heavy – on Wednesday and a few more linger into Thursday too (although more isolated).

A low that is growing in the Tasman Sea – created from the remnants of Ex-Cyclone Uesi – will send a cold front with some rain into the West Coast on Friday then into western and northern NZ on Saturday.

High pressure grows by Sunday and into next week too.
