VIDEO: Showers slowly fading as big high pressure belt heads towards NZ

We have the forecast through to the middle of next week as NZ transitions away from a wintry change in some regions to a more settled period of weather thanks to high pressure.

The incoming high, which arrives this weekend and looks to linger for much of next week, will bring milder days but colder nights.

We also take a look at snow totals in the coming days.
