High pressure is dominating the NZ area but a small and potent low will drift into the West Coast this weekend.
In Australia low pressure dominates with downpours, thunderstorms off and on this weekend, then next week more of an easterly wet flow moving in.
New Zealand has some downpours and showers – but for the most part leans drier than average thanks to high pressure in the area.
The tropics are also becoming more active with an uptick in lower air pressure and thunderstorms.
