FIXED (video link wasn’t appearing for all earlier) — Both NZ and Australia are caught up in a westerly driven weather pattern at the moment, which is sending some wintry weather across NZ with snow on the mountains and coastal hail showers into Auckland and the upper North Island.
A weak cold front moves into the North Island today but high pressure from Aussie will try to bring a fairly calm and dry weekend to NZ – and to a large portion of Aussie.
But the windy weather in Australia’s southern states comes back into the lower South Island on Sunday lifting temperatures up ahead of westerly gales next week – and a classic cold front moving up NZ on Tues/Wed and another one moving into Perth and WA on Wednesday too.
