VIDEO: Rain in the north for Tuesday, frosty in the south

Most of NZ is warmer than average by day across Monday and Tuesday but a few inland frosts are likely tonight through the South Island.

A low with sub-tropical connections moves into northern NZ on Tuesday – good news for Auckland’s water shortage problems.

Later this week a surge of cold air again – followed by more high pressure and then more northerlies.
