A powerful high pressure zone is dominating NZ into next week – and a tropical cyclone may well be forming in the Coral Sea this weekend to lie north of NZ next Wednesday.
It’s early days but the latest modelling gives more confidence of this today.
We track the possible cyclone, the powerful high in the NZ area (and the cooler southerlies with it) plus we closely monitor the flooding downpours in eastern Australia – which will continue on for another week.

Hi Duncan I like your reports and the way you explain them are you able to have the red and blue air thickness lines on the maps,
Cheers Hugh
