Windy at times, downpours and colder airflows make up the weather across NZ this week and the south-eastern corner of Australia from Adelaide to Hobart up to Canberra.
The classic spring set-up means temperature will fluctuate this week, but much of our weather will be west to south-west dominated. That means the bulk of the rain will be on the West Coast with over 125mm expected later this week.
There may also be a dusting of snow on the ranges of Tasmania by this coming weekend. Our forecast for NZ this Saturday looks a bit windy with showers about for the General Election.
