We have your NZ and Australia weekend weather plus the detailed forecast for next week as we come closer towards the end of winter 2023.
An active cold front will move into western NZ on Saturday with low pressure lingering around the North Island for Sunday and moving away on Monday. Next week high pressure flirts with NZ bringing a drier, calmer and sunnier week for many – although showers will still brush coastal areas of both main islands.
Australia has a lot of high pressure – but a colder southerly punches as far north as northern Queensland over the next few nights.
