The tropics are very busy with at least four storms, or areas of concern, worth monitoring.
New Zealand itself has high pressure dominating this weekend but the humidity is about to go up.
Next week the remnants of Cyclone Lucus bring a few showers to the country from the north west with added humidity and cloud cover.
Another Tropical Cyclone will be forming around Fiji this weekend and may drift near NZ next week the east.
Australia is also dealing with a storm near Perth and another potential Tropical Cyclone this weekend in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
