VIDEO: NZ’s Queen’s Birthday Weekend forecast + outlook for Aussie

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A storm is unravelling around NZ for Thursday and Friday but by Saturday many parts of the country will be settled and dry (a few isolated showers remaining in the north) as high pressure rolls in.

But the next high won’t last long, already starting to move away from NZ on Monday and Tuesday as the next stormy low pressure zone from Tasmania heads our way (and yes, that means more snow on the mountains across TAS, VIC and even NSW again!).

Here’s your NZ, Australia and South Pacific forecast through to Tuesday.

I am enjoying the cloud displays and rainbows that come with the weather that close isobars brings on the SW wind.

Hi Zelda,
I was just thinking this morning how lovely it is to have the SW wind back and the windy, showery, weather for a time – it feels like years since we’ve had this! Hope all is well and have great long weekend 🙂
