New Zealand has wintry weather in the South Island with snow flurries, but milder and wetter in the North Island – for now.
The colder southern change will spread into the North Island over the coming days bringing a few snow flurries to Central Plateau and a general temperature drop.
Later this week high pressure expands further south from the Southern Ocean.
