VIDEO: NZ School hols weather: Settled, drier as high moves in

Most of NZ is dry this week but showers are possible in the eastern North Island both start and end of the week – but it won’t be much.

This weekend more showers are likely in the eastern North Island as the high pressure zone drops away to our south-east. But this high pressure zone is enormous – and means more parts of NZ have drier, calmer, settled weather this week.

Once the high departs (in about a week) there may be a new change rolling in from the west with low pressure/rain bands. We have your forecast across NZ for this week and the coming weekend.
