VIDEO: More high pressure, but some frost & shower chances

For the middle of May the weather pattern is calmer, drier and milder than normal.

However we do have a risk of some frosts in the mornings ahead, along with further showers in some drought areas.

Next week a larger high rolls in to NZ but it does two things – it dredges up cooler air to begin the week, then ends the week pulling down sub-tropical air flows.
