Stormy weather is on the way for parts of the North Island this week as an ex-tropical cyclone rapidly deepens in the NZ area.
Heavy rain and severe gales are possible around parts of the North Island over the coming days with Tuesday night and Wednesday looking to be the peak time.
We have the latest forecast – plus a focus on rainfall for drought impacted Southland and the outlook for NZ and Australia as we head into Easter Weekend.
