Showers are in the mix for both islands over the coming days but most places lean drier than normal.
Warm airflows from north and north east of NZ will continue to blow in, adding to cloud and humidity across parts of NZ – while at the same time a weak low in the Tasman Sea will contribute showers to the West Coast.
The tropics wake up in early March too.
