VIDEO: Many NZers will complain about the forecast for early December!

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Might as well just say it! We have an unsettled weather pattern as we kick off December in NZ with windy weather the main feature due to storms tracking past in the Southern Ocean and high pressure stuck in the Tasman Sea or eastern Australia area.

NZ has windy weather off and on for at least the next week ahead with airflows out of the Tasman Sea and Southern Ocean.

Australia has a lot of dominant high pressure in the south to south east but low pressure in the Coral Sea promises more wind, rain and showers in coastal areas from Brisbane up to Cairns.
