VIDEO: Low pressure zone may bring rain to the North Island

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Rain is easing and clearing NSW but the low responsible will clip the lower South Island on Friday/Saturday with wind and rain but rainfall totals aren’t too great.

Most places lean drier than average in the week ahead but a small but potent subtropical low pressure zone may drift close enough to the upper North Island next week bringing the chance of some heavy rain into East Cape, Gisborne and Northern Hawke’s Bay.
