VIDEO: Low pressure to bring heavy rain to parts of NZ

A large low is developing along western NZ over the next day or two before falling apart this weekend.

Along with the departing high pressure zone this feeds in more rain to the lower south-eastern corner of the South Island – and into a number of other regions too.

As it falls apart this week it is replaced by westerlies and showers.
