We have the latest forecast for Christmas Day, but leading up to then NZ has a lot of low pressure to deal with first – which means a mixture of wind, rain and temperature changes over the coming week.

Both main islands get rain and wind at some point – but may not be severe.

Either way the weather this week is messy for NZ with rain and showers – and that carries on this weekend too.

As for Christmas Day – it’s still not yet locked in, but we hope to have that further locked in by the time we update again on Thursday.
