A large low is with NZ for the weekend bringing wind and rain to the middle and eastern parts of the country (lower North Island, upper South Island and along the eastern coastline from Gisborne down to Dunedin).
This is where the wettest and windiest weather will be. Elsewhere large dry areas will dominate. Next week west to south-west winds kick back in with a cold front likely going nationwide on Wednesday.
In Australia high pressure is dominating for the most part, but a couple cold fronts will brush the southern coastal states and showers and patchy rain also affect coastal parts of northern NSW and across coastal QLD. We have your forecast to the middle of next week – have a great weekend!
