Mark Darbyshire filmed some amazing lightning yesterday evening in Riccarton, Christchurch as the thunderstorm passed over.
There are two clips, the first is a shorter version with clips of lightning edited together. The second below shows a longer clip of the storm rolling in over a 20 minute period.

Thank you Mark for taking the time to upload the 23 minute video, it was brilliant to watch for someone who has missed out on a lot of storms recently! (And thank you WeatherWatch for sharing the links as always 🙂
