Our Monday video takes a detailed look at NZ’s weather through to the weekend but also Australia and the South Pacific tropical islands.
NZ has a storm between the South Island and Tasmania, sliding south of NZ over the next day or two. It means more windy westerlies for NZ – and more colder southerlies (fading) for Australia.
By mid to late week NZ has high pressure and settled weather.
The tropics have the usual easterlies and showers this week but lower pressure is trying to form around Fiji, Tonga and Samoa allowing more humid/tropical weather into Fiji and shower clouds and easterlies sinking closer to NZ by the weekend.
