A low pressure system is moving in to the country on Friday and lingers across Saturday and Sunday over NZ bringing a variety of weather with rain and showers for some, sun for others and snow on the ranges.
The rain moves in on Friday and lingers across Saturday. Saturday is when the low will be perfectly centred over the top of the nation.
By Sunday it moves northwards and this brings the sun out to some western areas. Next week kicks off with an easterly flow which will encourage some sunny but colder weather.
The westerlies look to set to return later next week taking us through until August.
