VIDEO: Huge high over NZ finally about to leave

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A massive high pressure belt which has impacted NZ for almost two weeks will start to move away this Friday and weekend and will allow some wet weather from Australia to move in.

The West Coast may have rain warnings but elsewhere only showers or some patchy rain is expected at this stage.

This high originally stretched 10,000km across.
