High pressure will dominate NZ for the next few days as a low departs NSW and heads to the South Island this Friday and Saturday bringing some rain and a burst of wind.
By Sunday a cooler change moves up NZ and for some it may be considered “cold” by Sunday or Monday, especially in parts of the South Island. This weekend southerly is ahead of the next high pressure zone drifting in from south of Australia next week.
