VIDEO: High pressure to dominate northern NZ, windy westerlies elsewhere, warmth returns

Warmer weather is returning to NZ with highs into the 20s this weekend as northerlies and westerlies kick in.

High pressure with cover northern NZ into next week bringing lighter winds and dry to mainly dry weather.

Further south the winds pick up, leaning more westerly overall, pushing temperatures up but also bringing showers to the West Coast and brushing Southland and western Central Otago too.
