VIDEO: High pressure returns to NZ as two lows impact Australia

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A low near northern NZ continues to drive in showers, cloud and windy east to south east conditions for Tuesday with the worst of the winds likely around Great Barrier Island and also the eastern side of Northland.

The low falls apart today and tomorrow and high pressure pushes back in for late week and the weekend.

The lower South Island is more settled with a chance of inland frosts.

Meanwhile both Perth and Sydney (and surrounds) will be affected by two large lows this week – both bring some severe weather risks to Australia.
