VIDEO: High pressure on the way – a subtropical low too

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Wintry southerlies in the south, windy westerlies in many other places – but high pressure is on the way for a brief time in the days ahead.

However northerlies will also be developing out of the sub-tropics with a potential sub-tropical low pressure zone on Monday bringing in easterly gales to northern NZ.

It’s not yet locked in – and we explain in the video why it’s a bit complicated. We have the NZ and Australia forecast through to Monday.

Ahhh so it was you hanging out the washing that brought this? There are still some parts of NZ needing rain, we might have to send you on a roadie around NZ hanging out laundry to bring the rain to various regions! 🙂
