A big high pressure zone is covering the south eastern corner of Australia and is heading to NZ this weekend.
Sunday and Monday look especially settled over NZ following on from the colder, showery, week this week.
Temperatures across NZ will be down for the next several days – but will rebound early next week as a sub-tropical airflow from north of Fiji starts to move in – and could create a heavy rain event from NZ.
Australia has low pressure hugging the southern coastline and should exit Australia early next week.
