High pressure is dominating NZ as we end January and go into February, but it’s not without a few showers moving through both main islands.
Generally speaking NZ is entering a settled period of “classic” summer weather with lighter winds, drier skies and higher temperatures for many. But the tropics is much more active – we cover that, and we also show how lows in the Southern Ocean will still be sending up some cooler, showery, southerlies/easterlies into next week too.
