VIDEO: High pressure expands this week but we’re not done with sub-tropical downpours

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Low pressure covers NZ today bringing areas of rain and showers along with dry spells and drizzle patches.

By Tuesday high pressure expands over the South Island and into the North Island for Wednesday and Thursday.

This weekend sub-tropical winds arrive and while fairly dry in a number of regions some downpours in the north have the potential to be heavy.
