VIDEO: High pressure dominates NZ as flooding risks continue across Aussie

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A powerful high pressure zone will bring mostly dry weather to NZ until the start of next week while Australia has flood risks right along the eastern seaboard and also in Western Australia from a tropical storm.

Rainfall totals in parts of Aussie will be in the 200 to 300mm mark over the next 5 days.

It’s the opposite story in NZ with high pressure keeping all regions drier than average for the first week of March – but some shower and isolated downpours will give some people a surprise burst of wet weather.
