We have two bursts of severe weather coming for NZ – the first over the next 48 hours and the second coming later Sunday and into the start of next week.
The first set up will see mild sub-tropical air pushing heavy slow moving rain into the North Island.
The second set up dredges up a wintry southerly for the final days of June nationwide.
