Sub-tropical winds continue for many regions pushing temperatures well above normal in many places this weekend – and again next week.
Saturday will be windier and showery nationwide (mostly in the north and west of both islands).
The first week of November brings some better chances of rain in the north of NZ – there are some chances it may align and bring some healthier totals.

Bet ya did a special long range forecast to make sure you could have a couple of weeks off without a major event lurking 🙂

Thank you very much Zelda! Lovely to hear from you. Aaron has already landed feet first in the job – he’s doing a great job. Hope your garden enjoys the drizzly showers 🙂

Must say this is the best weather station in the Southern Hemisphere. I noticed the poor explanations about La Niña from the others and the dreadful reporting on it from the media. I would be surprised if anyone new to La Niña would understand anything from nz media about it.

Fantastic Phil l wish we had half the info that you put out every day so well. With nz in a La Niña phase does it mean that the entire southern region including us in South Africa is leaning towards the same system?
