Heavy downpours with thunderstorms and hail hit Auckland yesterday afternoon.
WeatherWatch.co.nz forecasters said some slow moving isolated showers were developing over the Auckland region, including the city itself.
Hail fell in the centre of Auckland, with Ellerslie streets covered in fallen hail.
