It’s a windy Wednesday around northern and coastal parts of NZ with some heavy downpours in the mix and heavy snow down south in the Southern Alps and other ranges.
Many places today have average temperatures though. Thursday will be colder than normal in Southland and Otago with a few snow flurries to low levels – but won’t accumulate to much.
High pressure builds this weekend and into early next week nationwide.
