Over the next few days many regions will be warmer than average and drier with light sub-tropical winds developing, or at least northerlies.
By the middle of next week a tropical cyclone will be north east of NZ and shouldn’t affect us.
By Thursday windy westerlies kick in and by next weekend it looks as though a significant Southern Ocean storm will bring the first wintry blast of 2020.
