Wednesday is a windy day for parts of NZ with Thursday quite similar – but conditions do ease heading in to the weekend for most places.
With no high or low pressure this weekend there may be a few coastal showers in both islands, especially the western side. Over in Australia high pressure is dominating but windy westerlies and wet weather continues to brush the southern states and a showery easterly brings some wet weather into Cairns and QLD.
