VIDEO: Frosty high for NZ, rain for most Aussie main centres

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The weather forecast for NZ is a settled one but for Australia it’s unsettled as heavy rain develops in QLD in the coming days and then slides down the eastern seaboard, as far south as TAS. Also, another low pressure zone moves into WA.

The South Pacific tropical islands have easterly winds and just a few showers – fairly settled.

For New Zealand high pressure is rolling in, but this weekend we will see another cold front with another burst of rain and showers heading north – but like we’ve seen today, the totals in the north of both main islands won’t be much.
