> From the WeatherWatch archives

Both NZ & Australia have fairly settled weather – for now anyway, as by Sunday a large low in the Tasman Sea forms and then another low south of Australia looks to merge with it next week.

Main highlights:

  • A windy, colder, southerly change for the lower South Island comes in on Wednesday
  • Cooler for many places in NZ on Thursday with increased frosts
  • Showers in eastern coastal Australia & Adelaide
  • Sub-tropical winds for NZ by Sunday and Monday, in true Autumn style!
