You could say it’s raining cats and dogs – but a cat wasn’t supposed to crash our studio today! Weather-wise and we have peak spring weather with thunderstorms & downpours turning to a colder, much windier, spring blast this weekend and next week across Australia and NZ.
Thunderstorms and downpours continue on for NZ for then next 2 to 3 days – we also explain why you may have a thunderstorm icon but no actual thunder.
Australia has a much cooler weekend for the lower half of the nation – that cooler change reaches New Zealand’s South Island next week along with strong to gale force Westerlies which will dominate our weather through next week. We have the full forecast through to next Thursday. Have a great weekend!
Programming Note: Our editor, Shaun, is away on a conference today so we don’t have the usual intro and outro and day labels.
